We facilitate and support our nine partner universities; encouraging creativity and innovation to ensure that, together, we secure funding and resources to pursue enterprise and research projects which support our local business community.
In addition we work with a range of other regional and national bodies to drive key initiatives that benefit the student, graduate and business communities we serve and encourage inward investment into the region.
In practical terms this means we run:
A Strategy Group - to support our Universities collective contribution to the success of the East London
KEEN (KnowledgeEast Enterprise Network) – to support students and graduates into business and to help employers benefit from student and graduate talent
A KnowledgeEast Employer and Business Forum - which meets to find new ways in which we can support our local business community, including on funding applications, consultancy projects and other initiatives
A Business Development Network - working collaboratively across our Universities with private sector partners to commercialise our collective knowledge
An Academic Development Network - to support University experts’ work with our local business community
